Medicare Part B Health Equity Reimbursement

Retirees who have the NALC Health Benefit Plan, traditional Medicare Part B and Silver Script prescription coverage through CVS Caremark are entitled to partial premium reimbursements through Health Equity/ Wage Works. Some of you have had difficulties navigating the process for the reimbursements. Follow this process and it should be easier.

1)      Go to the website www.healthequity.com/login

2)      Look to the right of the screen for the Health Equity Wage Works Employee link and click on it.

3)      Set up your username and password to open your “account” if you have not already done so.

4)      A verification step is required. A number code will be sent to your text or email whichever you choose.

5)      Click onto General Forms. Then go to the Medicare Part B Reimbursement Form.

6)      Fill out the form. NOTE: Your ID Code is the last four numbers of your NALCHBP member ID number.

7)      IMPORTANT: You MUST include a copy of your method of payment for your Medicare Part B premiums. That would be either a copy of your Social Security Annual COLA Statement which shows your monthly deduction for Medicare. It could also be your bank statement if you pay by a monthly electronic fund transfer or a copy of the monthly check you send if you pay Medicare by check.

8)      Send the completed form and copy of your payment method to the address at the top of the reimbursement form. This could also be done online or via fax. Your reimbursement payment can be either a check or direct deposit, your choice.

9)      If you need help or have any questions call Health Equity at 1-844-768-5644 Monday Thru Friday 8AM till 8PM Eastern Time.

Health Benefits Open Season for this year begins 0n 11/10/25 and ends 12/8/25. There are a lot of rumors about costs increasing on all plans and Medicare as well but no information or numbers have been put out at this time. Now more than ever responsibility for an individual’s health care falls upon that individual. Please take good care of yourselves, you are the only you there is!
