To all NALC Branch 6000 members. In accordance with Article 22 of the Branch Bylaws this is the official notice outlining the rules for making any change to the Branch Bylaws. If you have any proposals to make a change, please remit the recommendation to: Chales Smith, Chairman of the Bylaw committee, 630 Broadway, Amityville, NY 1170. Please get any proposal to Charlie before the April 16th membership meeting. It will be read at the April meeting and voted on at the May meeting.
ARTICLE 22
Amendments
Section 1. Proposed amendments to these by-laws must be presented in writing only at the regular local meeting in April of each year and must be signed by 50 members in good standing. In order to be passed, a proposed amendment must be approved by a ⅔ vote of the members present and voting at the regularly scheduled Branch meeting after the April meeting.

Latest COLA is $250. The increase will go into effect March 7th, 2026.
