2023 Scholarship Awards

“Scholarship Night” took place this past June 15th.  Branch 6000 was proud to honor the following children of Letter Carriers as our 2023 Scholarship Winners.

First, our Branch 6000 “John Pedota Memorial Scholarship” Winners.

1st Place- $1,500- Edward Fieseler, son of Letter Carrier Neal Fieseler of the Smithtown Post Office.

2nd Place- $750- Mahib Rahman, son of Letter Carrier Mohammed Rahman of the West Hempstead Post Office.

3rd Place- $750- Michael Jose Cardenas, son of Letter Carrier Ruben Cardenas of the Lindenhurst Post Office.

And the Branch 6000 Credit Union- “William “Bill” Morris Memorial Scholarship” winner was:

Catherine Stork- $750- daughter of Letter Carrier Stephen Stork of the Massapequa Post Office.

On behalf of Branch 6000 and the Branch 6000 Credit Union, first of all, thank you to all those who submitted scholarship application’s this year.  We wish every student could win.  And finally, CONGRATULATIONS to ALL our Scholarship Winners.  We are very proud of all the hard work you have done to receive this award.  And we, here at Branch 6000, are very happy to help you in your continued academic endeavors.  Good Luck to all of you as you attend college this September.
