2024 Scholarship Awards

        “Scholarship Night” took place this past June 20th. Branch 6000 was proud to honor the following children of Letter Carriers as our   2024 Scholarship Winners.

Our Branch 6000 “John Pedota Memorial Scholarship” Winners were:

1st Place- $1,500- Kirsten Lilly, daughter of Letter Carrier Hyechong Lilly of the New Hyde Park Post Office.

2nd Place- $750- Cecilia Atiles, daughter of Letter Carrier Sabrina Rotunda of the Merrick Post Office.

3rd Place- $750- Sophia LaSala, daughter of Letter Carrier John LaSala of the Long Beach Post Office.

         On behalf of Branch 6000, first of all, thank you to all those who submitted scholarship application’s this year.  We wish every student could win. And finally, CONGRATULATIONS to ALL our Scholarship Winners. We are very proud of all the hard work you have done to receive this award.  And we, here at Branch 6000, are very happy to help you in your continued academic endeavors.  Good Luck to all of you as you attend college this September.
