2025 Scholarship Awards

“Scholarship Night” took place this past June 26th. Branch 6000 was proud to honor the following children of Letter Carriers as our 2025 Scholarship Winners.

Our Branch 6000 “John Pedota, William “Bill” Morris, Dominic Prestano Memorial Scholarship” Winners were:

1st Place - $1,500 - Daniel Wu, son of Letter Carrier Gaoxiang Wu of the Hempstead Post Office.

2nd Place - $750 - Madalyn Wik daughter of Letter Carrier Kathryn Schurek-Wik of the East Hampton Post Office.

3rd Place - $750 - Hannah Gansky daughter of Letter Carrier Erik Gansky of the Glen Cove Post Office.

On behalf of Branch 6000, first of all, thank you to all those who submitted scholarship applications this year. We wish every student could win. And finally, CONGRATULATIONS to ALL our Scholarship Winners. We are very proud of all the hard work you have done to receive this award. And we, here at Branch 6000, are very happy to help you in your continued academic endeavors. Good Luck to all of you as you attend college this September.
